For mold removal, proper protocol needs to be followed since Hydroxyls only attack what is in contact with the air. For example, you might kill the mold on the exposed surface of a wall but we still don’t know what is behind the wall.
Hydroxyls inactivate mold spores; however, the dead mold spores still need to be removed by air scrubbers equipped with HEPA filters. If only Hydroxyl Generators are used, an air test will show a high count since it only counts particulate. At the same time, if the air sample is cultured, it will show no growth.
